Ways to get Involved
There are many ways to become involved at First Church. As you become more familiar with our church, some of the opportunities to choose from are shown below.
If you haven’t already done so, you can sign up for the monthly email publication of The Church Window, which is a good way to see all that’s going on at First Church.
Or you can also sign up for the FCC Friday Link email by emailing Lauren Henderson at LHendersonFCC@yahoo.com.
There are numerous groups, large and small, who gather to experience social time together, build connections, and strengthen friendships. Anyone is always welcome and their activities are varied.
First Church offers Sunday School for our children, Confirmation Classes for our youth, and scripture discussions on Friday mornings at 9:30am.
First Church has a wonderful music program that is an integral part of our worship service. The Adult Chancel Choir and the Sabbath Bells adult hand bell choir rehearse on Wednesday evenings. The Peace Ringers Children’s Hand Bells, and the children’s choirs practice on Sundays after worship and sing occasionally in our worship service.
Please contact Adam Peithmann at APeithmann@FCCManchesterNH.org to discuss your interest in any of the choir groups.
Mission and Service
We work together to serve and support numerous local and global mission projects throughout the year. First Church also hosts classes for the English for New Americans program and frequently interacts with the students in evening conversations, occasional pot luck suppers, and joint projects. Scouts and AA are also hosted.
As you become more comfortable in worshiping with us, you may want to explore becoming a member of First Church. New Member Orientation events are held twice per year and hosted by the Membership Team.

"We visited several churches after moving to Manchester. In our worship at First Church we were overwhelmed by the great preaching, the magnificent music and the very welcoming congregation. We feel truly blessed to have been led to membership at First Church."

Until further notice, visitors should call ahead to ensure the health and safety of our staff, members, and friends. Although visitors are welcome with masks, meetings and gatherings are not being held at this time.
