I’m giving you my opinion about this. It’s to your advantage to do this, since you not only started to do it last year, but you wanted to do it too. Now finish the job as well so that you finish it with as much enthusiasm as you started…

Dear Friends,

SURVEY NEWS!

As you know, we are looking for your opinion. If we can have your enthusiasm as well, so much the better. I’ve been hearing from people who have taken our Congregational Assessment Tool (CAT) Survey. The feedback has been positive, and the interest seems to be growing. That makes sense. Once you’ve invested your time in taking the survey, you’re much more likely to be invested in what it will have to say about us. I did have one person tell me it took longer than I had said it would. But he admitted to being very deliberative about his answers, which is good. In general, it takes about 30 minutes, but please feel free to be as deliberative as you like.

If you haven’t taken it yet, I hope you will. For your convenience, here is another connection to the link:

Simply click on the link, on a web-attached computer, and follow the directions. It’s easy!

Also, for those who might like help or don’t have easy access to a computer, our CL21Team (Church Leadership for the 21stCentury) will be hosting two sessions, one each after church on June 16thand June 23rd. There will be a number of computers available in the church Parlor. Team members will be there to help you take the survey right then and there. If you would like to take advantage of this option, please write your name on the sign-up sheet on the church window. This is so we will know how many computers we will need to have available. Please keep in mind that our window for completing the survey is Monday, June 24th. After that, we will not be able to accept any further surveys.

SCRIPTURE READERS

On a different note, I’ve had a couple of people ask how they can get on the list to be a scripture reader on Sunday mornings. You may recall that we used to have a sign-up sheet on the church window for this as well. I took it down a few months ago so that we could expand the list of readers. I now have a list of 24 names and would be happy to include yours as well. Simply drop me an email or tell me in person that you are interested, and I will see that you get on the list.

Yours in Grace,
Rev. Kevin
