2024 Special Olympics

Dear First Church folks, family members and friends,

Thank you for taking the time today to be with the Special Olympics athletes, their coaches and families as we helped them compete in the Mini-javelin event. This is not only a wonderful outreach opportunity for our church, but it also makes us feel good as individuals. We received numerous complements today from coaches and parents about what a great job we did and how well the event is run. This is due to the large number of volunteers we bring to the event, and how well we do our jobs. Please see the attached video of the Invocation message delivered by Pastor Chris on Friday night at Opening Ceremonies.
