First Church Concerts

First Church has a vibrant music ministry program which includes concerts throughout the year. These concerts feature talent within the church and special musical guests from the local community.

The concerts are free, non-ticketed events followed by a free-will offering that benefits the music ministry or a local charity. Some of the concerts include organ recitals such as the Four Hands & Four Feet Organ Duet, Christmas and Messiah concerts, and special artists such as New England Brass and the African Children’s Choir.

During the Covid-19 Pandemic, music is offered on Facebook Live! every Sunday beginning at 9:30am and is followed by the Sunday worship service.  You do not need to be a Facebook member to click onto the link.  [CLICK HERE]

Contact Adam Peithmann, Director of Music Ministry at APeithmann@FCCManchesterNH.org to join the concert series mailing list.

 Highlights

Stewardship Campaign 2021

The 2021 Stewardship Campaign kicked off on September 27th with the four October Sundays featuring recipients and members during the Stewardship Moment about their hands-on experiences delivering and receiving God’s work; and how everyone’s  financial support, even if small, enables us to help those around us.

We mailed out your pledge forms so check your mailbox!  If you did not receive one, please call Linda in the office.

This has been a tough year for everyone, but we hope to have your continued generous support of FCC as we strive to keep you connected and faithful.

If you have any questions, please call Linda or Dan McKenney.

Barbara Papagian Ecclesiastical Council

Looking to end the week on a high note?  On Fridays at 6pm Adam Peithmann will post a 20-30 minute mini recital from  FCC on Vimeo.  Tune in to hear your favorite hymns arranged in a variety of styles plus classical standards.  We hope to see you there!

Coming Back Soon
Service of Prayer and Healing

Inspired by the Celtic Tradition, the roughly half-hour service will include music, readings, prayers and an opportunity to receive a “Laying on of Hands” blessing. Service will be held in the Chapel following the 10:00am worship service and fellowship, on the 2nd Sunday each month, once we are reunited.
