2013 Elm St

This year’s Religious Response to Hunger, kicked off each year by Temple Adath Yeshurun, Temple Israel, will be held on Thursday October 10th. A caravan of vehicles representing a number of area churches and religious groups will leave Brookside Church at 10:00 am and caravan down Elm Street onto New Horizons Soup Kitchen bringing the food that we have all collected. Caravan drivers are also needed! If you are able to join the car caravan on Thursday October 10, 2019 please contact Sue Clement at 603-657-5465 for the details.
We invite everyone to join in bringing in food over the next few weeks. This year they have a specific list of needed items; Tuna Fish or Canned Chicken, Peanut Butter, Macaroni & Cheese, Pasta, Canned Vegetables, Size 4 & up Diapers, Coffee, Dried Creamer and Sugar.
During the Sunday worship service on September 22nd bags will be passed out with the list off the specific needs stapled to them. We ask that you bring them back filled with your food donations on or before Sunday, October 6th in time to participate in the food caravan. Please check in with Sue Clement if you are interested in participating in the caravan. FCC members will meet at FCC prior to going to Brookside Church.
The Outreach Committee and New Horizons thank you!
