Palm Sunday/ Maundy Thursday/ Easter Sunday Worship Service

Palm Sunday Breakfast

Join us for Palm Sunday Breakfast on Sunday, March 29, beginning at 8 am.  
Serving will continue through 9:30 am.  The Chancel Choir is hosting the breakfast,
with assistance from other volunteers. The menu includes many traditional
Palm
Sunday Breakfast favorites,and you can't beat the price - $5.00 per person,
with a maximum of $15.00 per family.  Proceeds after expenses will support
congregational efforts to combat hunger in our community.

Maundy Thursday – April 2nd – 7 pm
Between the dual joys of Palm Sunday and Easter, we mark the betrayal, denial,
and death of Jesus Christ with our 7:00pm Maundy Thursday service of worship.

Easter Sunday – April 5th  –  One Joyful Service at 10 am
We will celebrate together at 10:00 AM the joy of the resurrection!  
Special music featuring the Chancel Choir, Sabbath Bells, and the New England Brass. 

 

Safe Church Policy

First Congregational Church Safe Church Policy

At it's May 7, 2012 meeting the Cabinet of First Congregational Church officially adopted a "Safe Church Policy" for our church.  These policies have become standard and expected for churches of all denominations across our country. It is necessary that we take every step we can to make sure that our church is an accessible and SAFE place for all who come through our doors.
